A message from Jay King to church committee members concerning
affordability
Churches today are too often ready to eliminate out of hand the
possibility of installing stained glass due to its perceived cost.
Some have received quotes from large studios that seemed so high, no
other quotes were sought out. Arkansas Glassworks wants to dispel
the notion that stained glass has to be expensive. We have worked
with more small and medium sized churches than large. It is our
goal to match any budget with a suitable stained glass application.
Simplifying design is the key to reducing cost when it comes to
stained glass.
Although we prefer to create our own iconography and symbol
medallions, Arkansas Glassworks can offer pre-made medallions by
studios such as Bovard Studios, Creative Art Glass and Palm Studio
and save our clients money by doing so.
Arkansas Glassworks is always prepared to work with committees and
family members who wish to donate the cost for memorial windows in
honor of departed loved ones. It is also not uncommon for
individuals or families to purchase 'honoring' windows for family
members still with us.
